Textile JBS claims had already been using the initials CR7 for its products in the USA market. Renzi (43) replied with a defense already put CR7 official trademark in the United States since 2009 for products in jeans and t-shirts.

JBS accuses Renzi use the same trademark name to reap the benefits of fame Ronaldo. JBS claimed CR7 very attached to the name of all the big names Ronaldo.
Renzi stronghold reply. Through attorney Michael Feldhuhn, Renzi insisted did not submit names to JBS Textile CR7. They still believe Renzi was the first to use the CR7 in the United States.
"The decision was taken based on who is using the name first. We can show our data are the first to use the name for the CR7 trademarks in the United States, "said Michael.
"They do not have the right to use this trademark as their own instead of the first players that use this name. We simply ask the company to remain allowed us to use this name. "
